Causes

The most common bacterium causing tonsillitis is Streptococcus pyogenes (group A streptococcus), the bacterium that causes strep throat. Remedy – 1: Gargling
Materials: Lemon juice, Salt, Pepper, Turmeric powder and boiled water

Procedure:
- Add 25 ml of lemon juice to 100 ml of boiled water
- In boiled water 5 grams of salt, pepper, and turmeric powder are added.
- When the amount of water is reduced to 50 – 60 ml, it is used for gargling.
- Gargling for 2 -3 days gives relief from pain and reduces swelling.

Fenugreek
This home remedy, fenugreek is also known as Methi. Cinnamon

You should add ten to twelve basil leaves to one and ½ cups of water. You should boil it for ten minutes. You should strain it and then add the juice from one lemon to this home remedy. If you want, you can add one teaspoon of honey to it. This product will sweeten your home remedy, but also it has many health benefits that are good for your overall health. You should drink this tea 3 times per day for a period of 2 – 3 days.
Preventions
- Stay away from people who are displaying active symptoms. If you have tonsillitis, try to keep it away from others until the pathogens are no longer transmissible.
- Make sure you and your child practice good hygiene habits. Wash your hands often, especially after coming into contact with someone who has a sore throat, or is coughing or sneezing.
